This believe it or not is preferable to me. I go not to escape daily life or hide from the modern world, but to see life in a different light, to see how harsh nature can really be, and in a sense to make me feel smaller, less individual and more in tune with the world as opposed to against it.  I want to coexist with nature ,not to fight it off with all the conveniences of modern day life, not to try to control it.
